Following a landslide, train services along the Koraput-Kirandul railway line were regulated on July 2, 2025, by the ECoR.
According to ECoR, officials have rushed to the site for assessment and planning to ensure early restoration. Heavy earth-moving machinery, manpower, and materials have been mobilised, and restoration work is underway.
The following train services have been regulated:
1. Train No. **18448** Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to leave Jagdalpur on 02.07.2025, is cancelled.
2. Train No. **18448** Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, leaving Jagdalpur on 03.07.2025, will now originate from Koraput instead of Jagdalpur.
3. Train No. **18516** Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Night Express, scheduled to leave Kirandul on 02.07.2025, is cancelled.
4. Train No. **18516** Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Night Express, leaving Kirandul on 03.07.2025, will now originate from Koraput instead of Kirandul.
5. Train No. **18515** Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Night Express, leaving Visakhapatnam on 02.07.2025, will run up to Koraput and will remain cancelled from Koraput to Kirandul.
6. Train No. **18447** Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar on 02.07.2025, will run up to Koraput.
7. Train No. **18447** Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express, scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on 03.07.2025, will remain *canceled* for rake adjustment.
8. Train No. **18005** Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express from Howrah will run up to Koraput.
9. Train No. **18107** Rourkela-Jagadalpur Express, scheduled to leave Rourkela on 02.07.2025, will run up to Koraput.
10. Train No. **18108** Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express left Jagadalpur on 02.07.2025. Its current position is at Chatriput. It will return to Jagadalpur, and services to Rourkela will remain cancelled.
11. Train No. **18108** Jagadalpur-Rourkela Express, leaving Jagadalpur on 03.07.2025, will originate from Koraput instead of Jagadalpur.
12. Train No. **58501** Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express, which left Visakhapatnam today, is currently at Jarati and will remain *cancelled* from Jarati to Kirandul.
13. Train No. **58501**/**58502** Visakhapatnam-Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger on 03.07.2025 will run between Visakhapatnam and Araku and will remain *cancelled* between Araku and Kirandul on both sides.
14. Train No. **18006** Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express, scheduled to depart from Jagadalpur on 03.07.2025, will originate from Koraput instead of Jagadalpur.
