Sensational disclosures have emerged in the investigation into the October 18 firing outside actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Police interrogation of the arrested hitmen—retained allegedly by operatives linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—revealed that Shroff was not the original primary target.
Instead, the shooters had conducted extensive reconnaissance at the Mumbai residences of A-list actors Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Salman Khan, but pivoted to Shroff due to his lack of heavy security cover.
With three more arrests made in Haryana’s Sonipat district, the total number of individuals arrested in the case has risen to ten. According to police, the two 18-year-old hitmen, Phool Singh and Rehan Ansari, spent nearly a month in Mumbai surveying various celebrity locations and sports grounds frequented by Shroff.
Logistics support—including weapons procurement from Amritsar via a “dead letter box” and transport—was facilitated by a network of operatives, including two women arrested in Delhi. The three primary suspects were intercepted at Kota station while attempting to flee and have been remanded to police custody until October 31 as the Mumbai Crime Branch continues its multi-state investigation.
