Bhubaneswar: After a brief respite from heatwave for some days, mercury again rose in Odisha with three places recording temperature above 40 degrees Celsius.
According to Bhubaneswar Meteorological Department, Sonepur was the hottest city in the state with 41.2 degrees Celsius followed by Boudh 40.5 degrees Celsius and Titlagarh 40.2 degrees Celsius.
The maximum day temperature in the Twin Cities was 37.4 degrees Celsius in Bhubaneswar and 36.2 degrees Celsius in Cuttack.
