Malkangiri: Three Maoists including a hardcore woman cadre, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on her head, surrendered before the police in Sukuma district of Chhattisgarh bordering Odisha’s Malkangiri district
According to information, the three militants working in a Maoist organization in Chhattisgarh’s Chintagupha area have surrendered to the Sukuma Police today.
While these Maoists have been involved in many cases of violence for a long time, gradually they lost faith in the organisation and laid down arms to rejoin the mainstream. Dudhi Shubudi, Dudhi Deb and Madbi Hema were among the surrendered Maoists, and there was a reward of Rs 1 lakh in the name of Dudhi Deb.
After their surrender, the police will ensure that they are settled according to the government rules.
