Bihar is on edge today as intelligence agencies confirmed the infiltration of three Pakistani terrorists affiliated with the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group into the state via the Nepal border.
The suspects—identified as Hasnain Ali from Rawalpindi, Adil Hussain from Umarkot, and Mohammad Usman from Bahawalpur—reportedly entered Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, in the second week of August before crossing into Bihar last week.
This alarming development has triggered a high alert across the state, particularly in sensitive border districts, as the region prepares for the crucial assembly elections scheduled for October or November 2025.
The Bihar Police, acting on actionable intelligence, have released sketches of the three militants and intensified security measures, including increased patrolling and coordination with central agencies like the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
