Gajapati: Police seized a huge cache of ganja from Dengma village under Mohana police limits in Gajapati on Monday and arrested three persons were arrested in this connection.
The three arrestees have been identified as Pradeep Majhi (36), Ashok Rana (36), of Balisahi village under R.Udayagiri police limits, and Ashok Majhi (22) of Jurapeta village.
According to reports, the cops intercepted a van travelling from the R.Udayagiri area to Berhampur during patrolling. Upon searching, they found 12.38 quintals of Ganja were seized.
The estimated value of the seized contraband is Rs 1.30 crore, added reports.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
