The Vvaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, collected Rs 2 crore nett on its second Saturday, marking a nearly 40% drop from Friday’s collection of Rs 3.25 crore.
The film’s total domestic running collection now stands at Rs 55 crore nett.
Helmed by Panchayat director Deepak Kumar Mishra, the eco-thriller is projected to close its second weekend between Rs 58 to 59 crore nett. Trade analysts note that the film is holding an “Average” theatrical status, which could have pushed toward a “Hit” verdict had it not clashed with the blockbuster release Drishyam: The Conclusion.
The film has performed exceptionally well across Bihar and Eastern circuits, driven largely by its Chhath Puja thematic backdrop.
