Team India’s group stage fixtures for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 are now out.
Placed in Group A alongside Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, and Qualifier A, the Men in Blue face a high-stakes campaign across South Africa and Zimbabwe.
India’s campaign begins with an immediate marquee clash on Thursday, October 7, taking on defending champions Australia at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town—a repeat of the 2023 World Cup final.
Just three days later, India faces off against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, October 10, at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Following their opening clashes against Australia and Pakistan, India moves to Centurion to play Afghanistan on Thursday, October 14, before traveling to Bloemfontein for a contest against Qualifier A on Sunday, October 17.
The group stage wraps up on Sunday, October 24, when India crosses over into Zimbabwe to face the co-hosts at the newly constructed Mosi-oa-Tunya International Cricket Stadium in Victoria Falls.
Should India finish in the top three of Group A (or qualify as the best fourth-placed team across groups), they will advance to the newly structured Super 7 phase beginning October 25.
