Kalahandi: In a shocking incident, a Class-IX student was allegedly raped by the teacher on the pretext of marriage at Madanpur area of Kalahandi district.
According to available information, the accused had an affair with the victim and has established a physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage. However, later he refused to marry her and assaulted her when she insisted for marriage.
With no option left, the victim lodged a written complaint against the teacher at Rampur police station. On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case and launched a probe in this regard.
