Actor couple Suriya and Jyotika marked two decades of marriage with a touching Christian vow renewal ceremony, surrounded by family and close friends.
Videos and pictures from the intimate celebration have gone viral, with fans praising the couple’s enduring bond.
Calling the occasion “The Sequel”, the duo emphasised that the ceremony was not about celebrating perfection but about embracing the imperfections, sacrifices, and selfless love that have defined their journey. Jyotika’s vows highlighted gratitude, positivity, and resilience, as she spoke of choosing happiness and celebrating life with Suriya and their children.
She reflected: “I vow to be a happy person — because I choose to see only life’s positive side. I vow to be thankful — as every morning I wake in the arms of a man who protects me, and for my beautiful children who’ve given my life a meaning.”
On the professional front, Suriya is preparing for his upcoming film, Scene, with director Jithu Madhavan and another collaboration with TJ Gnanavel under Hombale Films.
