A tragic road accident occurred near Chhatabar village in Sundargarh district, Odisha, late on Monday night.
The incident involved a Bolero and an unidentified vehicle on the Bankibahal–Topria road. The collision claimed one life and left five others injured, who were promptly rushed to Hemgir Community Health Centre (CHC) by local residents and passersby.
Authorities report that the injured are now in stable condition. The identity of the deceased has yet to be confirmed.
Hemgir police have seized the vehicle involved and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. This unfortunate event highlights the need for increased road safety measures in the region.
