Renowned sand artist Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik has crafted a stunning Santa Claus sculpture using 1.5 tonnes of apples and sand.


The creation, unveiled on the eve of Christmas, showcases Pattnaik’s signature blend of artistry and social messaging.

The internationally acclaimed artist, known for his innovative sand art at Puri beach and beyond, combined natural elements to design the festive installation. His sculpture not only celebrates the spirit of Christmas but also highlights creativity rooted in Odisha’s cultural landscape.
