Kendrapara: A student reportedly went missing while bathing in the Chitrotpala River in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Saturday.
The missing boy has been identified as Koushik Samantaray of Jagannathpur village under Patkura tehsil.
As per reports, Koushik along with his three friends had gone to the river to take a bath. While bathing, he slipped and got dragged into deep water by a strong current in the river.
On receiving the information, the ODRAF team rushed there and launched a search operation to rescue the boy. Further reports are awaited.
