As Odisha prepares to tackle the potential impact of Cyclone “Arnab,” BJP State President Manmohan Samal has issued a strong appeal to the people of the state and party workers to remain calm, stay alert, and cooperate fully with local authorities.

Reassuring citizens in an official press statement issued on Tuesday, Shri Samal emphasised that the state government and local administrations have put comprehensive measures in place to handle any eventuality. He urged everyone not to yield to panic or rumours, but rather to strictly follow the safety protocols and advisories issued by the authorities.

“We must all stand together to face this natural disaster. Collective cooperation is vital during such challenging times. I request everyone to strictly follow administrative guidelines and assist in moving to safer locations wherever necessary,” said Shri Samal.

Key Directives Issued by BJP State President:

  • Do Not Panic: Maintain calm and rely only on official updates.

  • Strict Adherence to Advisories: Follow all instructions and warnings issued by the administration promptly.

  • Proactive Relief Work: Party members and local volunteers should step forward to support rescue efforts, distribute relief materials, and ensure basic necessities reach affected families.

  • Cadre Mobilisation: BJP leaders and grassroots workers across all districts are directed to stay on high alert and provide seamless support to local officials.

Reiterating the administration’s commitment, Shri Samal affirmed that the state government is dedicated to protecting human lives and property. He expressed confidence that through unity, discipline, and timely action, Odisha will successfully navigate the impact of Cyclone “Arnab.”
