The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested CRPF personnel Moti Ram Jat in connection with an espionage operation allegedly involving Pakistan Intelligence Officers (PIOs).

Authorities report that Jat has been transmitting sensitive national security information to Pakistani handlers since 2023.

The investigation revealed that the accused received funds through undisclosed channels in exchange for classified data. Jat was detained by the NIA from Delhi and has been remanded into custody until June 6th following orders from the Special Court at Patiala House Courts.

The NIA continues its inquiry into the case, aiming to uncover further links within this covert operation.
