Police arrested another accused, Rabi alias Subas Bhoi, in connection with the Balianta mob killing of GRP constable Soumya Ranjan Swain, taking the total arrests in the case to 20.

Investigators confirmed that Rabi was part of the mob that assaulted Soumya Swain and his friend Om Prakash Rout after a road accident escalated into violence in Balianta. Soumya succumbed to his injuries, while Om Prakash survived and provided crucial testimony.
