Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, according to hospital sources.
The Rajya Sabha MP is currently undergoing medical treatment, and her condition is being closely monitored by a team of doctors.
Condition Stable, Under Observation
Sources confirmed that the veteran leader’s health is stable at present, though she remains under observation as a precautionary measure. No official statement detailing the exact cause of the current admission has been released so far.
Previous Health Concerns
This is not the first time Sonia Gandhi has been hospitalised in recent months. In January, she was admitted to the same hospital after experiencing respiratory discomfort.
At the time, doctors diagnosed a mild exacerbation of her bronchial asthma, attributed to cold weather conditions and rising pollution levels in New Delhi. She was treated with antibiotics and supportive care before being discharged in stable condition.
Ongoing Monitoring by Medical Team
Hospital authorities have indicated that her current treatment plan involves close monitoring and necessary medical management. Further updates are expected based on her response to treatment.
