Rayagada: Two siblings were killed in a road mishap on JKPur-Kalyansingpur road in Rayagada district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Bulu Beniya (37) and Manoj Beniya (25) from Rampur village in Karlakana panchayat under Kolnara block in the district.
According to reports, the incident took place while the duo was returning home after finishing some work in Rayagada town in the evening when a speeding vehicle hit the motorcycle head-on. Subsequently, Bulu and Manoj died on the spot.
On being informed, a police reached the spot and seized the pickup van. However, the driver managed to escape.
