All schools in Jajpur Municipality and its peripheral areas will remain closed on February 3, 2026, due to the visit of the President of India.
The District Education Officer announced the holiday following the directive of the Collector and District Magistrate. The closure coincides with President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Jajpur for Maa Biraja darshan and Pindadaan.
The order covers government and private schools within Jajpur Municipality and nearby areas. Headmasters, principals, and block education officers have been instructed to ensure compliance with the directive.
The DEO issued multiple memos to education authorities and government departments, confirming the closure and directing officials to follow up. The notification emphasised strict adherence to the order to avoid inconvenience during the President’s visit.
