Flight AI173, carrying around 230 passengers, departed from Delhi on May 27 aboard a Boeing 777-300ER. The aircraft began diverting after crossing into Chinese airspace and returned safely to the national capital. Air India confirmed that the plane landed without incident and will undergo a detailed technical inspection under its safety protocols.
