Actor Salman Khan, who recently began shooting for his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan, was spotted in Leh taking a break from filming to interact with soldiers and their families.
Photos and videos from the shoot have gone viral on social media, showing Salman dressed in an olive green T-shirt, cargo pants, shoes, and dark sunglasses. In one picture, he is seen smiling alongside a soldier holding a baby, with the soldier’s wife standing next to them.
A short video from the location shows tents set up at the shoot site, with crew members preparing equipment. Salman can also be seen sitting inside his car between takes.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China.
Calling it one of his most physically demanding projects, Salman earlier told PTI:
“Every year, every day, it gets tougher. I’ve to dedicate more time to training — running, kicking, punching. Shooting at high altitudes and even in cold water is a challenge. This film demands it.”
Salman was last seen in Sikandar (March 2025), directed by AR Murugadoss, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. He is also currently hosting Bigg Boss 19, which premiered on August 24 on JioHotstar.
