After the massive success of Kantara Chapter 1, actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty visited the Chamundeshwari Temple and Srikanteshwara Temple in Karnataka. He offered prayers to thank the Almighty and his fans for their love and support.

A video shared by Hombale Films on X (formerly Twitter) showed Rishab receiving a warm welcome at the temples. He was greeted with garlands and cheers from devotees.

Rishab’s Temple Visit After Kantara’s Success

In the video, Rishab arrived dressed in a white shirt and veshti, with a shawl around his neck. He bowed to the people around him and interacted warmly with the priests.

He also received a shawl as a mark of respect. At both temples, Rishab prayed with folded hands, smiling and greeting his fans. His humility and devotion drew praise from everyone present.

Sharing the video, Hombale Films wrote:

“With hearts full of gratitude, @shetty_rishab visits Chamundeshwari Temple and Srikanteshwara Temple, offering devotion and prayers following the phenomenal success of #BlockbusterKantara.”

About Kantara Chapter 1

Kantara Chapter 1 has become one of the biggest hits of 2025. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has earned around ₹485 crore in India and is close to joining the ₹500 crore club.

The film, directed and acted by Rishab Shetty, explores the origins of Daiva worship in Tulunadu. The story goes back to the fourth-century Kadamba dynasty and follows Rishab’s character, Berme, who protects the forest of Kantara and its tribal people.

The movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles. It was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the Hombale Films banner.

Cultural Significance and Fan Response

Fans have praised Rishab Shetty for staying grounded despite the film’s massive success. Many said his temple visit shows his respect for tradition and culture.

Social media users also appreciated his simple look and humble behaviour. “He’s an inspiration both on and off screen,” wrote one fan.
