On April 17, Odisha come together to honour the legacy of legendary leader Biju Patnaik on his 28th death anniversary.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Assembly Speaker Surma Padhi and other dignitaries, paid floral tributes at the Assembly premises in Bhubaneswar.
Leader of Opposition and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik led the homage ceremonies at Biju Patnaik Forest Park, accompanied by party members.

A traditional Tilotarpan program was held at Bindusagar Ghat, and the BJD hosted the “Tirodhan Divas” event at their party office, Sankha Bhawan.
The day witnessed participation from prominent leaders and citizens, reflecting Biju Babu’s enduring influence on Odisha’s history and development.
