To ensure smooth and convenient travel for devotees during the grand Rath Yatra 2026, the Commerce & Transport Department, Government of Odisha, has introduced Shuttle Auto Services along the Sterling Square – Lighthouse Square route.
A total of 41 shuttle auto tokens have been issued to provide seamless last‑mile connectivity for pilgrims.
In addition, devotees have been urged to follow traffic advisories for a safe and hassle‑free journey. The Odisha Police has advised pilgrims to stay connected with its official social media channels for real‑time traffic updates.
To assist devotees travelling from the Bhubaneswar side, LED vans are displaying live traffic information at key points including Master Canteen, Uttara, Kalpana Square, and Cuttack Road. This initiative, jointly undertaken by the Commerce & Transport Department and Odisha Police, aims to help devotees plan their journey better, avoid congestion, and reach Puri smoothly.
Marking the occasion, Commerce & Transport Minister Shri Bibhuti Bhusan Jena dedicated free auto and e‑rickshaw services from Talabania for devotees. He was accompanied by Principal Secretary N.B.S. Rajput and other senior officials during the launch.
Officials emphasised that these measures reflect Odisha’s commitment to making Ratha Jatra not only a spiritual celebration but also a well‑managed civic event prioritising safety, convenience, and accessibility.
