Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially tied the knot in a traditional Telugu ceremony, and while their wedding ensembles drew admiration, it was their heritage jewellery that sparked widespread conversation online.
Held at the luxurious ITC Mementos near Udaipur, the ceremony brought together family and close friends in an intimate yet culturally rich celebration.
Rashmika Mandanna’s Temple Jewellery Steals the Spotlight
For her wedding, Rashmika chose a rust silk saree with a red border designed by Anamika Khanna. The saree featured temple-inspired motifs influenced by Hyderabad’s sacred architecture, blending devotion with regal elegance.
Complementing the ensemble was elaborate temple jewellery crafted by Shree Jewellers, Hyderabad. She layered a traditional gold choker with long harams, paired with statement jhumkas, a maang tikka, and a delicate nose ring. Stacks of gold bangles and a floral hath phool completed the bridal look.
Her styling remained soft and radiant, allowing the gold pieces to stand out while maintaining balance and grace.
Vijay Deverakonda’s Bold Gold Statement
Vijay’s attire reflected equal attention to heritage and symbolism. He wore an ivory dhoti silhouette with a vermillion angavastram, embroidered with forest and temple-inspired motifs symbolising lineage and cultural continuity.
Breaking away from minimal groom styling trends, he opted for statement gold jewellery, including layered temple-style chains, ear studs, and multiple rings. His look paid tribute to South Indian traditions while embracing a contemporary royal aesthetic.
A Celebration of Telugu and Kodava Traditions
The wedding ceremony took place at 10:10 AM in accordance with Telugu customs, followed by a second ceremony honouring Rashmika’s Kodava heritage. The couple, who first shared screen space in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and later in Dear Comrade, got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October 2025.
