International advance ticket sales for Ramayana Part One kicked off on a strong note on Thursday, triggered by the simultaneous worldwide release of its second trailer.
Early box office tracking indicates a solid start across primary overseas markets, including the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
The United States leads the momentum, generating approximately USD 125,000 for preview shows within the first 24 hours and pushing opening weekend pre-sales near USD 200,000. In Australia, the film recorded AUD 40,000 for its opening weekend, marking the second-best advance start for an Indian title in the territory behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Solid traction is also being witnessed across UK cinemas.
Industry analysts attribute the strong showcasing to global distributor Sony Pictures, which has prioritised high-performing locations and optimal show allocations in Indian diaspora hotspots over token single-show bookings. While scraped booking site data often reflects inflated figures due to blocked seats and face-value pass calculations, verified collection trends confirm a promising global start for the epic.
