Rajinikanth’s team has officially dismissed recent rumours claiming a rift between the superstar and director Ashwath Marimuthu on the sets of their upcoming film Dharman.
Speculation had sparked online, suggesting an uncomfortable atmosphere due to alleged creative disagreements.
Addressing the rumours, a member of Rajinikanth’s PR team clarified in a social media post that the claims were entirely false. Having witnessed the shoot firsthand, the team member noted that Rajinikanth feels very comfortable and happy working alongside Ashwath Marimuthu, praising the filmmaker’s dynamic working style. Production for Dharman is reportedly progressing rapidly and smoothly.
Slated for release in Jan 2027, Dharman features an ensemble cast including Simran, Raashii Khanna, and Yogi Babu. Before its arrival, Rajinikanth is set to return to the big screen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s highly anticipated sequel Jailer 2, scheduled for release on October 15, offering fans a packed cinematic run.
