Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has forecasted rain and thundershower for several districts of Odisha till February 19.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower has been predicted for one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on February 16.
Similarly, on February 17, Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the
districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Angul and at one or two places over the rest districts of interior Odisha, Balasore, Bhadrak and Cuttack.
However, Dry weather will prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Meanwhile, a Yellow Warning of Thunderstorm with lightning, has been issued for the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
On the other hand, yellow warning for the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur has also been issued for February 18.
The districts Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal will likely experience Light to moderate rain or thundershower on February 19, while dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on this day.
