In a heartfelt tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary, prominent leaders, including President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, gathered at the Prerna Sthal.
Dr. Ambedkar, fondly known as the ‘Father of the Indian Constitution,’ dedicated his life to the upliftment of marginalized communities and the establishment of democracy in India.
Speaking on the occasion, President Murmu praised Dr. Ambedkar’s visionary work in creating an inclusive framework for modern India. PM Modi highlighted Ambedkar’s principles and how they continue to inspire the nation to achieve social justice and self-reliance. Cultural events and ceremonies were organized nationwide, showcasing his contributions to India’s development and equality.
Born on April 14, 1891, Dr. Ambedkar was instrumental in shaping India’s economy through the Finance Commission of India and the Reserve Bank of India. Posthumously honored with the Bharat Ratna in 1990, his legacy remains a guiding light for generations to come.
