The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Summer Annuals Edition of Amrit Udyan today, marking the ceremonial opening of one of the capital’s most cherished horticultural showcases.
The event celebrates the seasonal bloom and cultural heritage embedded within the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens.
Amrit Udyan will be open to the public from August 16 to September 14, 2025. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant floral displays daily between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. The garden will remain closed on Mondays for routine maintenance.
Entry to Amrit Udyan is free, but prior registration is mandatory. Visitors can book their slots online via the , or register on-site using Self Service Kiosks located outside Gate No. 35.
Gate No. 35, near North Avenue Road, will serve as the entry point. Visitors are allowed to carry essentials such as mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas. All other items are restricted to ensure security and preservation of the garden environment.
