Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led a massive 10-kilometre-long Tricolour rally through Bayalish Mouza in Cuttack today.

The event, part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, saw thousands of citizens participating with fervour and patriotic zeal.

The rally commenced from Brahmapur Chhak, with the Chief Minister standing atop an open jeep, waving the national flag. The procession stretched all the way to Kalapada, covering nearly 10 kilometres. Hundreds of bikers joined the march, chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” while waving the Tricolour.

Women lined the streets with flowers and lamps, welcoming the Chief Minister and adding a cultural touch to the patriotic celebration. The rally was not just a visual spectacle but a powerful symbol of collective commitment to national unity.

Speaking to the media after the event, CM Majhi said, “Our national flag is a living testimony to our resolve, struggle, sacrifice, and inspiration. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative is a call to honour and protect our flag. It is a campaign to awaken patriotism and strengthen national unity.”

The rally is part of a three-day nationwide celebration from August 12 to 14, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to bring the Tricolour into every home. Local leaders, including Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Sethi, and thousands of residents joined the march, making it one of the largest patriotic gatherings in the region.
