President of India Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar today on a three‑day visit to Odisha.
She landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft, where she was warmly received by Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, DGP YB Khurania, and Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
From the airport, the President proceeded directly to Lok Seva Bhavan, before attending a programme at a private university later in the afternoon.
Officials said the visit underscores the importance of Odisha in the President’s itinerary, with multiple engagements lined up over the next three days. Security arrangements have been tightened across the capital city to ensure smooth movement.
