“I have never strayed from Pradyumna Bal’s ideals,” said Dr. Achyuta Samanta, trustee of the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Trust, during the 93rd state-level birth anniversary celebration of the legendary journalist and socialist leader.

Samanta shared that when gifts were offered to facilitate work, Bal strongly opposed such practices. His integrity was non-negotiable. Samanta credited Bal’s ideals for guiding his own journey, stating that he continues to uphold those values in every endeavor.
