29TH OCTOBER DIWALI 2027 💥
Worldwide RELEASE DATE 👆 https://t.co/SmPjKHzuVE— Sandeep Reddy Vanga (@imvangasandeep) October 18, 2026
The announcement was accompanied by a captivating new poster shared by Vanga, showcasing Prabhas sporting a full-grown beard, a cap, and dark goggles. By opting for a Diwali 2027 bow, the makers averted a direct box office confrontation with Salman Khan’s Monster on Eid 2027.
However, the revised release calendar sets up a massive potential clash with Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological magnum opus Ramayana Part Two, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash.
Industry analysts note that given Vanga’s strong camaraderie with Kapoor following their 2023 blockbuster Animal, one of the two cinematic behemoths may adjust its schedule to ensure a clear run.
In Spirit, Prabhas portrays a hot-headed IPS officer, marking his maiden collaboration with Vanga. The film also features Triptii Dimri as the female lead, alongside Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana, and Aishwarya Desai in pivotal roles. Produced on a grand scale, the action spectacle will hit global screens in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), and Korean.
