The post-mortem examination of Prisha Shah, a first-year student who was found dead in her hostel room, is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, where her body is currently kept.

Prisha, a Nepali national pursuing her studies in Bhubaneswar, was discovered unresponsive inside her university hostel earlier this week, triggering widespread concern and diplomatic engagement between India and Nepal.

Her family members arrived in the city on Friday and formally identified her body ahead of the post-mortem procedure.

Meanwhile, a police investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death. Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities and are expected to release further details after the autopsy is completed.
