Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police today conducted a flag march in the state capital. The city police force and 2 platoons of CRPF jawans were in today’s flag march in Bhubaneswar.
Ahead of the general elections, flag marches are being carried out with CRPF jawans and policemen in various areas of the Commissionerate Police to make the elections free and fair.
The flag march was first started in the city under the leadership of Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh. The flag march was held in all the residential areas including Indradhanu Market, Behera Sahi, Gad Sahi, Nua Sahi, Rental Colony, VIP Colony and slums area under Nayapalli police station to boost the morale of the people and sensitize them on exercising their franchise.
This flag march was conducted to suppress criminal activities and criminals before the elections, to maintain peace and order during the elections and to boost the morale of the voters.
