Over the last 11 years, India’s youth have played a transformative role in the nation’s development, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognising their contributions across multiple sectors.
From startups to science, sports to culture, young Indians have emerged as key drivers of innovation and progress.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi emphasised the impact of government initiatives such as StartUp India, Skill India, Digital India, and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. “Empowering youth is the most powerful thing a nation can do,” he stated.
In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted that India’s young minds are shaping a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) with dynamism, innovation, and determination. The rise of youth-led startups, advancements in digital technology, and success in global sports events underscore the growing influence of Yuva Shakti in nation-building.
Government policies over the past decade have focused on providing opportunities for skill development, entrepreneurship, and higher education. The New Education Policy aims to bridge gaps in learning, ensuring India’s youth are well-equipped for future challenges.
PM Modi reassured that his government will continue prioritising youth empowerment to secure a strong and self-reliant India. “We will always give our Yuva Shakti all possible opportunities to shine,” he affirmed.
