New Delhi: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday said Covid vaccination for person over 60 years of age will start from March 1.
He told newspersons that those over 45 years of age and affected with co morbidities can take the jab and added that the vaccination will start in 10000 government and 20000 private centres. But, the vaccines will be available for free in government centres only.
The Union Minister said those who opt for private vaccination centres, they have to pay certain amount for the vaccines. He, however, said it will be decided in a couple of days how much the private centres will charge for Covid vaccination.
