Rourkela: The vaccination at different vaccination centres of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) is evoking an enthusiastic response from the residents of the Steel City.
Notably, vaccination is being done at designated centres, i.e. Ispat General Hospital, Sector-6 Health Centre and Sector-22 Hospital of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), Bhanja Bhawan, Sector-19, Social Home, Sector-18, Sector – 1 Health Centre in association with the District Administration.
Arrangements have been made at the centres for the smooth conducting of the programme in strict adherence to the COVID guidelines. Besides, Rapid Antigen tests are being carried out in the community centres of different sectors on a rotation basis.
Till 14th June 2021, 86550 shots of vaccines have been administered in the Centres in the Industrial township. Out of this 7233 shots have been administered to employees and 10266 to their dependants. The rest 66295 shots have been administered to various sections of people living in Steel City.
