Jharsuguda: One worker was killed, while five others were taken ill after a poisonous gas leaked in the Odisha Metaliks unit in the Budhipadar area in Jharsuguda district on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Barun Pradhan of Kechhobahal under Brajrajnagar police limits.
Five others who became ill, have been admitted to a private nursing home in Jharsuguda and are undergoing treatment. Following the accident palpable tension prevails at the factory.
