Jharsuguda: A massive fire erupted in a plastic scrap warehouse, resulting in the loss of valuables worth lakhs of rupees in Jharsuguda’s Beherapat area. Intense flames produced thick smoke that covered the vicinity, causing concern among the inhabitants.
The fire’s ferocity and quick spread necessitated an immediate response from emergency services.
Officials from the fire department suspect a short circuit as the probable cause of the fire. Four fire engines were rapidly sent to the scene, and the firefighters exerted great effort to bring the fire under control and avert additional losses.
As the fire brigade endeavoured to manage the blaze, the local community was advised to remain vigilant. The public has been cautioned to avoid the area for their own safety and to facilitate the unimpeded work of the emergency responders.
