Pune: A person was killed while four others sustained critical injuries after a state transport bus met with an accident near Uruli Devachi village on Pune-Saswad Road.
According to reports, the incident took place while the bus belonging to the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation was heading towards Pune when it collided with a container truck.
Subsequently, a passenger sitting behind the bus driver’s cabin died and three other persons were injured. The injured were immediately rushed to hospital.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe in this connection. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
