Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd. (OMFED) achieved a net profit of ₹10.23 crore in 2025–26, marking a historic milestone in its operations.

Chairing a review meeting in Bhubaneswar, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development and MSME Minister Shri Gokulananda Mallick said OMFED has strengthened the economic condition of lakhs of dairy farmers while emerging as a trusted symbol of quality and taste.

The Minister emphasised Odisha’s role in the White Revolution and called for enhanced milk production, market expansion, innovative products, and effective management reforms. He reiterated the State Government’s commitment to making Odisha self-reliant in milk and dairy products.

OMFED recorded its highest-ever turnover of ₹1,036.82 crore, reflecting growth in procurement, production, and marketing. Commissioner-cum-Secretary Shri Prem Chandra Chaudhary highlighted new dairy plants at Sonepur and Tangi, along with the registration of 1,061 new milk cooperative societies in two years.

Managing Director Shri Vijay Amruta Kulange presented OMFED’s roadmap, aiming for the prosperity of 3.28 lakh dairy farmers by 2030 through hassle-free procurement and self-sufficiency in dairy products. Under the Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana, 21 new milk chilling centres have been established, and 160 new milk collection centres are being opened.

OMFED has expanded its product portfolio with Lassi, UHT Chocolate Shake, A2 Milk, A2 Ghee, Balti Dahi, and Gulab Jamun, which are receiving strong consumer response. The meeting was attended by OMFED President Shri Kishore Chandra Pradhani, officials, and milk union representatives.
