Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd. (OMC) achieved its highest-ever mineral production in FY 2025–26, recording 44.82 million tonnes.

Iron ore output reached 40.02 million tonnes, marking a 12.06% year-on-year growth.

Chrome ore production stood at 1.69 million tonnes, while bauxite output touched 2.83 million tonnes. Mines met their targets through improved efficiency, better coordination, and focused execution.

OMC reported overall mineral sales of 42.524 million tonnes. This performance contributed to the Corporation’s highest-ever revenue of Rs 25,300 crore (provisional). The achievement reflects OMC’s role in strengthening Odisha’s industrial ecosystem and supporting economic growth at both the state and national levels.

The Corporation emphasised scientific and sustainable mining practices. It adopted dust suppression systems, afforestation, water conservation, and modern IT-driven technology to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), OMC supported communities in mining areas. Initiatives included healthcare, education, drinking water, sanitation, livelihood promotion, skill development, and rural infrastructure. These efforts contributed to inclusive growth and improved living standards.

Senior leadership praised the collective efforts of employees across mines and regions. The record-breaking achievement highlights OMC’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainable development.
