The State Higher Education Department has released the first cut-off list for undergraduate (UG) admissions in Odisha under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS).
Ravenshaw University in Cuttack has emerged as the top choice this year, leading across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.
Political Science recorded a cut-off of 92.80%, while Zoology saw the highest cut-off at 94%, followed by Physics at 93.67%. In Commerce, Ravenshaw also dominated with a top cut-off of 90.50%.
A total of 2,65,590 students applied in the first round, indicating high competition for seats. The admission process is structured into three rounds, with provisional seat allotments and final selections extending until mid-July.
Classes for first-year UG and PG students are set to begin from July 10 across universities and government-aided colleges in Odisha.
