Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Health Minister, Mukesh Mahaling, declared on Saturday about a major anti-rabies vaccination campaign aimed at immunizing stray dogs throughout the state.
The Minister announced the goal for the state to eradicate Rabies by 2030. To achieve this ambition, an extensive vaccination program will be initiated for stray dogs statewide.
This joint venture will be carried out in collaboration between the Urban Development and Health Departments. In line with the national goal, Odisha’s endeavour is integral to India’s wider strategy to eliminate Rabies by the year 2030.
