The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha commenced the evaluation of Plus Two examination answer sheets today, employing a large-scale and organized approach.
Spanning two phases, this rigorous process involves around 16,000 evaluators assessing 24 lakh answer sheets, including 15 lakh offline and 9 lakh online copies.
The first phase, scheduled from April 2 to April 14, will see 8,000 teachers evaluating online and offline copies, while the second phase, running from April 16 to April 28, will engage another 8,000 evaluators. With 148 centers set up across the state—78 for offline and 70 for online evaluation—this initiative covers Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams simultaneously.
Strict security measures are in place to ensure a smooth evaluation process. Evaluators are required to complete a specific number of answer sheets daily, with entry and exit times being closely monitored. Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited within the centers.
The CHSE aims to maintain efficiency and accuracy, ensuring timely results for students.
