The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has announced the results of Phase-II admissions for Plus II courses in Odisha, selecting 39,278 candidates out of 44,966 applicants for the academic year 2025–26.
This phase saw a strong turnout of fresh applicants, with 19,636 out of 20,832 new candidates securing admission—an impressive success rate. Stream-wise distribution includes 22,337 students in Arts, 10,294 in Science, 2,789 in Commerce, 2,770 in Sanskrit, and 1,088 in Vocational courses.
Gender parity was nearly achieved, with 19,869 male and 19,402 female students selected. The results reflect growing interest in diverse academic streams and the effectiveness of Odisha’s digital admission system.
Education officials praised the smooth execution of the selection process and encouraged students to prepare for the next steps, including document verification and enrollment.
