Odisha Tourism made a strong impression at the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) 2025, drawing global tour operators, MICE planners, and travel media to its well-curated pavilion.
The showcase highlighted Odisha’s diverse tourism offerings, including spiritual circuits, eco-retreats, heritage trails, and MICE infrastructure, alongside engaging technology-led experiences.
The Odisha Pavilion featured Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) installations, allowing visitors to explore the picturesque destinations of Konark, Satkosia, Chilika, and Bhitarkanika virtually. This innovative approach was a key draw, providing a multisensory glimpse into the state’s rich tourism potential.
Adding to the cultural experience, guests were welcomed with authentic Odia delicacies such as Arisa Pitha and Khaja, which received appreciation for their traditional taste. The Odisha Tourism delegation, led by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida actively engaged industry stakeholders, fostering discussions on enabling policies, investment opportunities, and future collaborations.
A series of B2B and G2B meetings took place at the Odisha Pavilion, with over 35 Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) exploring partnerships in spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, and MICE events. The initiative marks a strategic push for Odisha Tourism to enhance its global presence and develop long-term partnerships.
With immersive engagement and meaningful industry collaborations, Odisha’s participation in GITB 2025 reinforces its vision of becoming a premier travel destination.
