Odisha Government has approved recruitment for 1363 Junior Revenue Assistant posts across 30 districts.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department.
Revenue and Disaster Management Department’s Additional Chief Secretary Dr Aravind Padhee has written to district collectors regarding the recruitment process. The posts will be filled through direct recruitment, strengthening the state’s revenue administration.
The letter outlines district-wise vacancies and specifies reservation provisions for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, women, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen, and sportspersons.
Collectors have been instructed to coordinate with the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) and initiate the online application process quickly. The government expects this recruitment drive to enhance efficiency in revenue administration and expand public service delivery.
Officials believe that filling these posts will improve grassroots governance and ensure better service to citizens. The move reflects Odisha’s commitment to strengthening administrative capacity and addressing manpower gaps in the revenue system.
